SHANGHAI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Village Roadshow Pictures Asia and Heyi Pictures announced today that they will co-produce and co-finance the Jackie Chan sci-fi thriller Bleeding Steel, written and directed by Leo Zhang (Chrysanthemum to the Beast). Principal photography for the film is scheduled to begin in July out of Sydney. Bleeding Steel is anticipated to be the biggest budget Chinese production ever to shoot in Australia.
